  • UM Campus Engagement Internship

    Join hundreds of students across the country as they transform Jewish life for their peers.

    • Build relationships.
    • Connect to Jewish life.
    • Create meaningful Jewish opportunities.

    This is a Paid Position and also has the opportunity to attend a premier student leadership training conference.

    Job Description

    Engage approximately 50 Jewish students over the course of the year, plan, organize and execute at least 2 initiatives per year, participate in biweekly group meetings and biweekly individual meetings with your supervisor.

    Requirements

    • Must be on campus for the entire year (cannot be going abroad)
    • Must attend Hillel Student Leadership Institute August 6-10

  • Social Medial and Marketing Internship

    Help UM Hillel improve its Social Media and Marketing presence. This flexible internship will work on creating consistency in Hillel’s Facebook, Instagram and Email presence as well as helping with general marketing strategies. For information and to apply, contact Janu: jmendel@miamihillel.org
  • Hillel Office Internship

    UM Hillel provides the opportunity to work on campus and gain professional experience under the guidance of the Hillel staff. Our Hillel Interns learn valuable professional skills in areas of data management and organizational development. You must have strong computer skills and 8-10 hours to work per week.   • Jewish Education / Shabbat

    Are you interested in working with the Hillel student and staff team to make Shabbat and Jewish education creative and fun? This internship will focus on Shabbat, Jewish Holidays and creating Jewish educational opportunities for students throughout campus.

  • Mentoring

    Are you starting to figure out plans for life after UM? Hillel's Mentoring program allows students to connect with Jewish professionals within their specific area of study.

    Take advantage of UM Hillel's amazing professional networks by connecting with the Jewish community or alumni in your field or are of interest. Stuyding medicine? We will connect you with a doctor. Many people in our commuity are eager to share their experiences, contacts, and wisdom with you, and to help you navigate life in the "real world".

    The program seeks to take advantage of the vast resources and broad reaching experiences and fields of study that exists in the Miami Jewish community!

  • Emerson Fellowship

    StandWithUs Emerson Fellowship is a prestigious one-year fellowship program that recruits, trains, educates, and inspires pro-Israel college students to become an elite cadre of leaders on college campuses across North America. StandWithUs Emerson Fellows form a network of trained pro-Israel student leaders, chosen from over 40 campuses, who utilize their skills and energy to drive and inspire their peers to run effective pro-Israel events and bring Israel’s message to their campuses. Among their program responsibilities, fellows hold leadership positions within pro-Israel student groups, run four to six programs on their campuses throughout the year, write articles for local and campus media outlets, and attend two training seminars in Los Angeles, CA. Upon completion of the program, fellows receive a stipend and the chance to win an amazing internship at the StandWithUs Jerusalem office.
